Herbed Chicken- Slow Cooker

Herbed Chicken- Slow Cook

 

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. paprika

  • 1½ tsp. dried thyme

  • 1 tsp. Freshly ground pepper

  • chicken Breast

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 large celery rib

  • 1 red onion

  • 4 clove garlic

  • ½ lb. baby carrots

  • ¾ lb. small assorted beets

  • 12 large Brussels sprouts

  • 1½ tsp. Dijon mustard

  • fresh rosemary leaves

 

 

Directions

  1. Stir first 3 ingredients and rub it on chicken

  2. Add and rub lemon

  3.  Place celery, onions, and garlic in a slow cooker

  4. place chicken on top of the onions

  5. Put the rest of the veggies around the chicken

  6. Cover and cook for 8 hours until done

  7. Add rosemary and mustard

 

Storage

You can store the meat up to 4 days in the fridge. For longer storage, freeze the meat in individual zip-log bags up to 2 weeks.
